I was just thinking it was over. Thinking he was gone. But last night, I was proven wrong. And I swear to you, every word of this is true.
I woke up around 4 and couldn't go back to sleep. So I sat in bed, listening to the furnace hum. But then the furnace started making a weird noise. A weird, distorted, screechy noise. Me being the smart person I am, I didn't blink an eye. I controlled my breathing to make anyone or anything think I was still asleep, and opened my eyes slightly.
And it was there. Standing in the hallway. Staring at me, probably. I thought, okay, maybe this is just a shadow. I shut my eyes, and a few minutes later opened them slightly again. It was there, but from the moonlight coming through the glass door at the end of the hall, I think it had turned away and was staring at the wall. It almost looked as though it was guarding something.
Still trying to control my breathing and heartbeat which threatened to give me away, I remembered something I had disregarded earlier that night. A bright light, shining through the door. Oh, probably a passing car. But no car was ever that bright. And also, some other random bursts of light that lasted for a second. Not lightning. I don't know.
Finally, when I walked upstairs (after my alarm clock rang and I checked several times to make sure the thing was gone--it was, which proves it wasn't a shadow, and that something had moved), the first thing I saw was that my computer was on. I always leave it in sleep mode--in fact, I remember putting it into sleep mode early last night so that I could watch TV. But my computer was on, and this has happened before in my other entries, if I recall correctly.
Guys, remember the Slenderman Angel Theory? I don't know...maybe that has some significance. I have to leave soon, so I don't have time to reread it, but there were bright lights and Slenderman just standing there. And I know the silhouette was Slenderman--nothing is that slender.
Whatever happened, something was in my house. And it's started again. I will have a camera tonight, and I swear I'll catch that thing even if it kills me.
